Blair Kaminsky and Jack Millman Participate in ACC Program on Artificial Intelligence
New York—June 26, 2019—Holwell Shuster & Goldberg partner Blair Kaminsky and associate Jack Millman presented an Association of Corporate Counsel online Quick Hit titled, “Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence & Attorneys—The New Age for Financial Services Institutions.” The event took place on June 26.
Blair, Jack, and an in-house colleague addressed how financial services companies are using (or can be using) artificial intelligence to gain a competitive advantage, for tasks as varied as high-speed trading, fraud detection, and improved customer service. The panel explored how companies can protect their proprietary AI through the use of traditional intellectual property protections, as well as through licensing agreements and other contracts. The webcast also explored how companies can utilize AI to make legal work more efficient, with a focus on technology-assisted review of electronic discovery and automated legal software.
