Peter J. Brody
Peter Brody brings significant trial and appellate experience to his broad-based commercial litigation practice. In private practice, Peter has litigated a variety of commercial matters, including securities, contract, class action, and employment disputes. He has represented corporate clients as both plaintiffs and defendants, including as a member of a team that secured a favorable jury verdict for a corporate plaintiff. Peter has also represented pro bono clients in immigration proceedings and civil rights litigation.
Before joining Holwell Shuster & Goldberg, he served as a law clerk to Judge Richard J. Sullivan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and to Judge Andrew D. Hurwitz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He also worked as a litigation associate at Sidley Austin in Chicago.
Peter is admitted to practice in California and Illinois. His admission to the New York bar is pending.
