Holwell Shuster & Goldberg Partner Blair Kaminsky Selected to The American Lawyer’s First-Ever Young Lawyer Editorial Board

02.27.2018

New York—The American Lawyer has named Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP partner Blair Kaminsky to its inaugural Young Lawyer Editorial Board. In its official announcement, The American Lawyer notes that the Board is “truly representative of the up-and-coming leaders of the profession” and will serve as a collective voice for them.

Selected from a large pool of candidates across the United States and London, the 40-member Board includes lawyers from Big Law and boutique firms, in-house counsel, federal defenders, public interest attorneys, litigation finance companies, law schools, and other organizations. Members will be tasked with writing editorials on a range of topics, from legal training to how to combat sexual harassment in the legal industry.

With a wide-ranging practice focused on complex commercial litigation, Blair represents both individuals and corporations in litigation and investigatory matters frequently touching on large-scale transactions and the financial services industry. She dedicates significant time to pro bono matters, and is the firm’s corporate representative to the NYC nonprofit Her Justice. She has been recognized as a Woman Worth Watching by Profiles in Diversity Journal and a top litigator under 40 by Benchmark Litigation.

Before joining HSG, Blair was an associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz and clerked for Judge Judith Rogers of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
