Blair Kaminsky and Vince Levy Named to The National Law Journal’s Elite Boutique Trailblazers List

11.01.2018

New York—The National Law Journal has honored Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP partners Blair Kaminsky and Vincent Levy as 2018 Elite Boutique Trailblazers.

Since joining HSG in 2013 and 2015, respectively, Blair and Vince have played a key role in the firm’s rapid growth and success, and have had a front-line role in several high-profile litigation matters. Blair, for example, is representing Visa in putative nationwide class actions and dozens of individual antitrust actions brought by some of the largest retail merchants in the world, including Target and Amazon. Vince, a former law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, is currently running a billion-dollar antitrust case brought by Valassis Communications, Inc., a MacAndrews & Forbes company, against News Corp.

Blair and Vince have also driven several initiatives to promote diversity and inclusiveness within HSG, the legal profession, and through pro bono work. For example, Blair leads HSG’s relationship with Her Justice, a NYC non-profit that provides legal services to women in poverty. As chair of the firm’s pro bono practice, Vince recently secured a historic victory on behalf of a Syrian asylum seeker, winning the first injunction against the revised version of President Trump’s travel ban. He also leads a team working in partnership with the ACLU to represent pregnant and breastfeeding Frontier Airlines pilots and flight attendants who suffered employment discrimination.

Earlier this year, Blair was selected to join The American Lawyer’s first-ever Young Lawyer Editorial Board, and was recognized on Euromoney’s Rising Stars shortlist. She and Vince, who was named a 2017 Rising Star by the New York Law Journal for his contributions to the practice of law and the New York legal community, were also recognized this year as top litigators under 40 by Benchmark Litigation.
