Blair Kaminsky Discusses the Benefits of Working at a Boutique in Law.com Legal Speak Podcast

New York—In this Law.com Legal Speak podcast episode, “Good-Bye Big Law, Hello Boutiques. Why These Young Lawyers Are Sold on Smaller Firm Careers,” HSG partner Blair Kaminsky explores the many advantages to working at a boutique firm. Specifically, she addresses the ample opportunities for young lawyers to garner substantive “on-their-feet” litigation experience, with ongoing mentorship from senior lawyers. 

As a young partner and a member of HSG’s hiring committee, Blair takes this benefit to heart, noting that “she argued at court within months of joining the firm” back in 2013 and understands that the “primary thing people are looking for today is a place where they will get vast, substantive experience.”

When asked about some additional benefits of a boutique like HSG, Blair noted: “We’re nimble, we’re flexible. We know our people, we know what they need right now so we can be responsive.”
