Euromoney Names Blair Kaminsky the 2019 Rising Star for General Commercial Litigation

New York—Blair Kaminsky, partner at Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP, was honored at Euromoney Legal Media Group’s second-annual Americas Rising Star Awards, which recognizes attorneys under the age of 40 for their professional accomplishments, advocacy, and influence within their respective fields. Blair received the Rising Star Award for Best in Litigation: General Commercial at a ceremony held on Sept. 12, 2019 in New York City.  

Blair has a wide-ranging practice focused on complex commercial litigation. She represents both individuals and corporations in litigation and investigatory matters frequently touching on large-scale transactions and the financial services industry. She currently represents Visa in putative nationwide class actions and dozens of individual antitrust actions brought by some of the largest retail merchants in the world. She has also represented HSBC, U.S. Bank, and BNY Mellon in cutting-edge RMBS “putback” cases, which are resolving billions of dollars in liability stemming from the bursting of the housing bubble. 

This is the latest award in a string of recognitions for Blair. She was recently recognized as an Elite Boutique Trailblazer by The National Law Journal and as a Woman Worth Watching by Profiles in Diversity Journal. She has also been recognized on Benchmark Litigation’s 40 & Under Hot List since 2017 and as one of Super Lawyers’ Top Women Attorneys in the New York Metro Area and as a Rising Star.
