Blair Kaminsky to Speak on Law.com Webcast About the Future of Litigation in a Changing Legal Landscape

06.26.2023

Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP partner and management committee member Blair Kaminsky will speak on a Law.com webcast about the future of litigation in a changing legal landscape on June 28 at 2 p.m. ET.

Joining Blair on the panel will be Brad Blickstein, principal of the Blickstein Group; Hank Grezlak, editor-in-chief for American Lawyer Media’s legal theme desks and regional publications; Matt Rasmussen, founder and CEO of ModeOne Technologies; and Lee Wielenga, chief information officer at U.S. Legal Support.

Blair and her co-panelists will address the latest trends and technology shaping the litigation landscape, including how remote work is changing the nature of litigation; how the changing data security and discovery landscape is impacting the legal practice; the impact of generative AI on the litigation process; and how litigation teams are transforming to adapt to these changes.

At HSG, Blair represents both individuals and corporations in complex commercial litigation and investigatory matters frequently touching on large-scale transactions and the financial services industry. She is widely respected for her leadership and advocacy in litigation with wide-ranging social and economic impacts, including high-stakes RMBS putback litigation that first arose in the Great Recession and insurance coverage disputes related to the opioid crisis. In another wave of commercial litigation with potential exposure in the billions, Blair represents Visa in multi-district class action antitrust litigation filed on behalf of merchants, as well as in opt-out cases brought by the world’s largest retailers, relating to network rules at the heart of the Visa system.

Chambers USA honored her as an “up and coming” lawyer for general commercial litigation in New York in its 2022 and 2023 guides, with clients and peers stating she “does a remarkable job in court” and “sees the forest, the trees, and the underbrush.”
