Jonathon R. La Chapelle

Overview

Jonathon La Chapelle represents financial institutions and companies from numerous other industries in complex commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters. He also brings significant domestic and international arbitration experience to his practice, having represented clients in proceedings under the rules of the ICC, ICSID, JAMS, and other organizations. 

Jonathon started his career as a litigation associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. During law school, he served as a research assistant to former Judge Richard A. Posner of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and as a staff member of the University of Chicago Law Review. He received the Joseph Henry Beale Prize for outstanding research and writing, and the Bell, Boyd & Lloyd Prize for outstanding appellate brief.
