Matthew T. Collins
Overview
Matthew Collins's practice covers a wide range of complex commercial and civil litigation, including securities, antitrust, and insurance matters. Before joining Holwell Shuster & Goldberg, Matthew served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jay S. Bybee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and practiced as a litigation associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Matthew holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University and previously held teaching and research positions at Harvard, Trinity College, and the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa. He is also the author of The Early Printed Illustrations of Dante’s Commedia (Notre Dame University Press, 2024) and is the founding series editor of Reading Dante with Images (Harvey Miller Publishers).
