Thomas Kicak maintains a broad practice representing clients in complex commercial litigation, with experience covering contract, copyright, trademark, false advertising, real estate, and defamation disputes.
Before joining Holwell Shuster & Goldberg, Thomas was a litigation associate with Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP, where he served as a member of the trial team that secured a groundbreaking $42 million verdict for former detainees at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, who asserted violations of the Alien Tort Statute against a military contractor. A graduate of New York University School of Law (magna cum laude), he previously interned at The Hague Conference on Private International Law and with the Bronx Defenders.
