Holwell Shuster & Goldberg Partners Brendon DeMay and Priyanka Timblo Are Finalists for The National Law Journal’s “National Winning Litigators” Award
New York – HSG Partners Brendon DeMay and Priyanka Timblo have been named by The National Law Journal as finalists for its “National Winning Litigators” award as part its 2024 Legal Awards.
Brendon and Priyanka were shortlisted for winning a $101 million jury verdict against Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, in an extraordinary 10-day trial with 14 witnesses that centered around Walmart’s wrongful cancellation of its contract to purchase more than $500 million in personal protective equipment, or “PPE,” in the midst of the pandemic. Brendon and Priyanka served as co-lead counsel to plaintiff London Luxury in the case, which was tried in Walmart’s hometown in the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas.
The National Law Journal’s annual awards honor excellence in the legal profession, recognizing outstanding achievements, innovation, and dedication within the legal community.
