Priyanka Timblo Named a Crain’s New York Notable Woman in Law

02.23.2026

Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP partner Priyanka Timblo was named to Crain’s New York Business’ 2026 list of Notable Women in Law, which honors “the women defining New York’s next era of law.”  The Crain’s award marks yet another recognition by an industry-leading publication of the wins Priyanka has obtained on behalf of HSG clients.

Priyanka was recognized for her leading role in multiple high-stakes commercial trials. In 2024, Priyanka served as co-lead counsel against Walmart in a hard-fought 10-day trial over the retailer’s wrongful cancellation of a $500 million PPE contract during the Covid-19 pandemic, securing a $101 million jury verdict—increased to $125 million in post-trial proceedings. The verdict stands as one of the largest jury verdicts ever obtained in Walmart’s home state of Arkansas. She was also recognized for her role as co-lead counsel in a $69 million award against former billionaire Philip Falcone, and multiple defense wins for videogame distributor Valve in antitrust mass arbitrations. Within HSG, Priyanka is a member of the hiring committee, dedicated to recruiting the next generation of talent.

In 2025, Priyanka was named by Bloomberg Law as one of 32 “Unrivaled Litigators” nationwide, an award recognizing “winning trial lawyers at the top of their game” who “lead the legal profession in high-stakes and impactful trials.” She has also been named a Rising Star by The New York Law Journal; Litigator of the Week by The American Lawyer; one of the top 250 women in litigation by Benchmark Litigation, and to Bloomberg Law’s “They’ve Got Next: The 40 under 40” list.

Priyanka joins HSG founding partner Dorit Ungar Black, partner and management committee member Blair Kaminsky, and partner Jayme Jonat, who have all previously been recognized on Crain’s Notable Women in Law list.
