Priyanka Timblo and Michael Shuster Named Among the Nation’s Top 100 Trial Lawyers 

Benchmark Litigation has named two Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP partners to its 2027 Top 100 Trial Lawyers list. This annual distinction highlights leading trial attorneys nationwide who are “venerated by peers and clients as being the best in breed at the nuanced practice of trial law.” 

Priyanka Timblo 

Clients and peers call Priyanka "an absolute dynamo," "tough as nails" and "extremely effective in the courtroom." She represents plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes commercial litigation and arbitration. She has secured eight- and nine-figure judgments in bench and jury trials, in antitrust and breach of contract disputes. In 2024, she won a $101 million verdict against Walmart as co-lead in a breach of contract jury trial in federal court in Arkansas. She has also secured multiple defense wins for videogame distributor Valve in antitrust mass arbitrations, and is trial counsel for Visa in antitrust litigation relating to rules at the heart of Visa’s payment system.  

Michael Shuster 

A veteran of the Top 100 list, Mike is trusted by major corporate, financial, and individual clients to handle their most complex commercial disputes. Described by clients and peers as “the quintessential lead trial lawyer,” with the required “style and charisma for a courtroom litigator,” Mike has played a key role in many of the country’s most high-profile litigations, earning a reputation for exceptional skill in the courtroom and beyond. He is currently lead trial counsel for Visa in federal antitrust litigation. 

Mike was inducted into Benchmark Litigation’s Hall of Fame in 2025, a career honor reserved for those with a sustained record of exceptional trial advocacy. Before co-founding HSG almost 15 years ago, Mike was a litigation partner at White & Case, where he served as Global Head of Commercial Litigation, and at Kasowitz, Benson.
